Chef Bases
Commercial Chef Bases
Commercial chef bases combine refrigerated or freezer drawer storage with a heavy-duty worktop designed to support countertop cooking equipment. Ideal for restaurants and high-output kitchens, chef bases keep ingredients close to the line while improving workflow efficiency during service.
Ingredients Within Reach
Drawer storage keeps proteins, toppings, and prep items organized and accessible at the cooking line.
Supports Countertop Equipment
Built to hold equipment like griddles, charbroilers, ranges, and other countertop cooking appliances.
Efficient Line Design
Combines workspace and cold storage in one footprint to reduce steps and speed up service.
Choose Refrigerated or Freezer
Available in refrigerator and freezer configurations with multiple drawer layouts to match your menu.
Pro tip: Measure the footprint of your countertop equipment and confirm the chef base top load rating. Choose drawer counts based on your station’s ingredient workflow.
What equipment can sit on top of a chef base?
Chef bases are commonly used under griddles, charbroilers, countertop ranges, and other cooking equipment—always verify weight/load rating.
Are chef bases refrigerators or freezers?
They can be either. Many models are available as refrigerated chef bases or freezer chef bases depending on your needs.
Why choose drawers instead of doors?
Drawers improve organization and speed for line service, making it easier to access ingredients quickly.
